DRINKING WATER UPDATE 1/25/2023
Well #3 has been rehabbed, cleaned and had an additional chemical feed installed. Well #3 went back into service 11/18/2022. Results pending lab verification show Manganese levels below 50 ug/L going into the distribution system. Now that Well #3 is back in full service, Well #1 and Well #2 will be used minimally. The fill station will now be accessible Monday through Friday 8-4:30 via the main Village Office door. Water test kits are available at the Village Office. These kits are sent to Commercial Testing Labs and for $14 can test the levels of manganese in your drinking water. We will continue to provide updates via our quarterly newsletters and website. |
The Village of Grantsburg is now accepting applications for a full-time police officer.
