DRINKING WATER UPDATE 12/20/2023
A public notice was placed in the December 20th edition of the Burnett County Sentinel. This notice will be issued quarterly until manganese levels at Well #1 and Well #2 are below the 300 PPB limit set by the EPA. The Village Crew continues to test manganese levels 3 times per week throughout the distribution system and those levels continue to remain below the 300PPB limit. If you have any questions, please contact the Village Office for further details. The fill station is accessible Monday through Friday 8-4:30 via the main Village Office door. Water test kits are available at the Village Office or Village Shop. These kits are sent to Commercial Testing Labs and for $14 can test the levels of manganese in your drinking water. |
